About five years ago I bought a guillotine cutter from a family in a nearby town.  Their father was a printer who ran his business out of their basement for decades, and had since passed away.  They had a lot of equipment for sale that I couldn't use, but I was so happy to find this nice cutter and a tabletop paper drill (which I use for drilling calendar holes).  As I was ready to leave his wife lead me over to an antique acme floor model saddle stitch stapler, with foot operated pedal, and said "Now I know you want to take this home too, right?".  I couldn't resist.

Here are the guillotine cutter and stapler in action, in a film by Zachary Hartzell.  I'm so glad these beautiful machines are back out of retirement.
