I have had the great privilege of working on two special projects with the Yale Center for British Art at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. For both projects, I created some letterpress printed pieces inspired by this extraordinary building and collection. Many thanks to the YCBA staff for their very generous hospitality!
The more recent project was inspired by the architecture of Louis Kahn, who designed the landmark building housing the YCBA.
The former was an invitation to browse some of its extensive holdings, particularly books and prints related to the natural sciences in the Rare Books and Manuscripts department.
